Cause an animal fight to take place or attempt it
Knowingly receive money for admission to animal fight

Make or accept bets
Own or posses anything used in connection with a fight
Keep or train an animal for such event
Keeps,use,manages or permits another to do so any premises used for such a fight
Can you watch an animal fight?
No it’s an offence to be present at one
Can you take or possess video or photograph of dog fight?
No it’s an offence to
Knowingly supply photo,video or image of animal fight
Knowingly publish them
Knowingly show them to another
Possess them,knowing what it is with intent to supply
What do you do if you come across an animal in distress?
An insp or constable may take, or arrange for the taking of such steps needed to alleviate the suffering
If vet certifies it should be destroyed then constable should
Destroy it where it is or take to another place and destroy it there
Arrange for it to be done
Can you destroy an animal without vet say so?
Yes if it’s clear that there is no other option and to wait for vet is not practicable
Can you enter premises to destroy an animal who is suffering?
Yes but not a private dwelling

Can you seize animal used in fighting?
Yes
May enter and search any premises with warrant from magistrate. Does not extend to dwelling house

What are conditions for granting of warrant under welfare of animals act 2011
Magistrate must satisfy himself with 4 things
1)the whole of the premises is used as dwelling house and occupier has been informed of decision to apply for warrant
Occupier must first be informed of decision to apply for warrant unless this would frustrate purpose

Can stop and search with reasonable grounds
Search or examine any animal being used or had in possession
Can enter land to make arrest but not a dwelling house
