Q

What was Proportional reperesentation?

A

It is an election system where the number of votes a party recieved in an election was represented by number of seats they were then given in gov which allowed extremist parties to be able to get into reichstag. So for every 60,000 votes they achieved they got one seat and so made it hard for parties to get a majority
