What is an abdication?
When someone gives up the throne.
The Kaiser (king) abdicated in October 1918.
What were the four terms of the Treaty of Versailles?
LAND - Germany lost Alsace and Lorraine
ARMY - German Army was restricted to 100,000 men. No submarines, tanks or aeroplanes
MONEY - German had to pay reparations. Fixed at £6.6 billion in 1921
BLAME - Article 231 Germany had to accept full responsibility for the war.
