Why is fat distribution important
an increased waist to height ratio is associated with increased fat around abdominal organs which can cause health problems e.g. heart disease
What is the NHS reccomended calorie defecit
an adult who wants to lose weight should reduce their calorie intake to 600kcal/day below their daily requirement to sustain weight loss at a rate of 0.5 – 1kg per week.
