Q

What is the difference between mass and weight?

A

Mass is the amount of stuff in an object . It’s scalar, it’s measured in kg

Weight is the force acting on the object due to gravity , measured in Newton’s, from a single point it’s centre of mass, it’s measured using a spring balance

Q

What is circular motion?

A

It is when an object is travelling in a circle it is constantly changing direction so it is changing velocities , this means it’s accelerating. This means there is a resultant force acting upon it this is called the centripetal force.
