Mass is just the amount of stuff in an object
Is mass scalar or vector
Scalar- it is measured in kilograms
What is weight
weight is the force acting on an object due to gravity due to the gravitational field around the earth

Newtons.

the area the force is acting on
how is weight measured
using a calibrated spring balance or newton meter
What is the formula for weight
weight= mass x gravity
Why do these amounts change
gravitational field strength depends on location
It is stronger the closer you are to the mass causing the field
more massive objects create stronger fields
What is circular motion
Constantly changing velocity
If an object is traveling in circle it is constantly changing direction, which means it is constantly accelerating
What does this mean?
there must be a resultant force acting on it
Where will this force be
towards the centre of the circle
What is this force called
The centripetal force
