Clinical Application:

A

Disperses the wind, clears heat, ventilates the Lung, and stops cough.

“Mild, pungent, and cool formula” used in the early stage warm febrile disease and other wind-heat exterior disorders in which coughing is the dominant symptom.

Also used for eye disorders due to wind-heat and hacking cough due to exterior dryness.

Currently used for upper respiratory tract infection, flu, acute bronchitis, and acute conjunctivitis.
