Clinical Application:
Promotes sweating to release exterior cold. Opens the Lung qi and calms wheezing.
Common formula for exterior wind cold attack excess syndrome.
Key symptoms are chills and fever without sweating, wheezing, superficial and tight pulse.
Currently used for common cold, flu, acute bronchitis, bronchial asthma, etc. due to wind cold exterior excess syndrome

Clinical Application:
Releases exterior wind cold from the muscle layer and regulates ying and wei qi.
This is a common formula used for exterior wind cold or wind attack deficiency syndrome and ying wei disharmony.
Currently used for common cold, flu, upper respiratory tract infection, postpartum fever, allergic rhinitis, cerebrovascular spasm, eczema, and uticaria.
