Synonyms: thumbnail sketch, anecdote
Sentence: I always write vignettes of my day whenever I find a day interesting.
bibulous
(adjective) - fond of or inclined to drink; absorbent
Synonyms: inebrious, alcoholic
Sentence: In all my life I have never encountered bibulous drunken men.
supine
(adjective) - lying flat on one’s back; listless or lethargic; apathetic or passive
Synonyms: prone, prostrate
Sentence: The measurements given refer to a moderately filled stomach with the body in the supine position.
