Location:
Midway between LI-15 and the anterior end of the axillary crease.
this point is NOT on the chest; it is on the shoulder, in the deltoid muscle. It is closer to the long head of the deltoid rather than the short head.

For pain of paralysis of the shoulder or arm.

Location:
On the tips of the 10 fingers, 0.1 cun distal to the nails.

Almost exclusive for emergencies such as fainting, summer stroke, heat stroke, epilepsy, etc.
These points very effectively sedate, open the orifices, and drain heat, fire, and toxins

Location:
Four points on the palmar aspect of each finger, but not the thumbs. Each point is at the midpoint of the transverse creases, of the proximal interphalangeal joints.

Location:
On the dorsal side of the middle finger, in the center of the proximal interphalangeal joint.

UB-2 is much better for hiccups; PC-6 is better for nausea.
This point is NOT needled- use moxa or acupressure

On the dorsum of the wrist crease, between LI-5 and SJ-4, in the depression on the radial side of the common extensor tendon.

Chest stuffiness with the feeling of chest pressure downward and sinking of the diaphragm, or acid regurgitation.

Location:
Two points on the dorsum of the hand, midway between the wrist crease and the MCP joint. One is between the 4th and 5th metacarpals, the other is between the 2nd and 3rd metacarpals.
Palpate to determine the MOST TENDER location.

For lower back pain, acute lumbar sprain, etc. any type whether severe or mild.

On the dorsum of the hand, about 0.5 cun posterior to the MCP joint between the 2nd and 3rd metacarpals.
Palpate to determine the MOST TENDER location.

For any type of neck problem, whether acute or chronic, severe or mild.
After needle insertion, patient walks and moves.

Location:
Two points on each forearm- locate with forearm in supination. 4 cun above the wrist crease on opposite sides of the flexor carpi radialis.

Midway between the wrist crease and the elbow crease, and midway between the radius and the ulna- locate with anterior arm in supintation.

Similar to PC-6: for cardiac pain, palpations, stuffy chest, hypochondriac pain, stomachache, nausea, vomiting, mental disorders, insomnia, irritability, pain below the elbow, etc.
