General Goal:
To attract pathogens from inside the body to the skin surface where they can be released

Indications (Most Common):
Exterior conditions like wind-heat, wind-cold, summer cold, summer heat. Exterior pathogens attach the superficial layers and can effectively expel them in early stages.

Many pain syndromes including headache, extremity pain, sore throat, sinus pain, etc.
Guasha can benefit the gums and teeth

Cautions and Contraindications:
Do not use Guasha on patients with bleeding disorders, thin skin, or other skin conditions which could be exacerbated

Sedation or Tonification:
Guasha is a sedation technique. It will be more effective if you are able to push/slide up to 100 times/minute
