What is patient handling
the lifting, repositioning, and transferring of a client, patient or resident
What is a lift?

What is a reposition?
shifting, adjusting or changing the patient’s position in bed, wheelchair, chair, or other supportive surface.
What is a transfer?
guiding and/or assisting the patient from one surface to another.
What are some examples of Legal requirements for employers

What does the abbreviation HAI stand for?
HAI: Healthcare acquired infection

Difference between droplet and airborne diseases
Droplets are larger and released when you cough, sneeze, talk, or even breathe hard.
Airborne particles are tiny, can stay in the air for a long time, and travel longer distances.
