Statistical Signifigance
A
Results are not likely to happen random chance.
Statistically significant means that the proportion of cards I correctly identify is larger than would have been expected to happen if I were just randomly guessing—in other words, by random chance.

Null Hypothesis
A
the status quo, or what is expected to be true based off of previous results

Alternative Hypothesis
A
Is that something happened or is happening to the researchers parameter from the null hypothesis.
