What are the 3 kinds of faith?
1) FAITH IN FAITH
- mysticism or irrationality. typically eastern religions
2) FAITH IN REASON
- rationalism or non-theism
3) FAITH IN RATIONAL REVELATION
- Biblical theism!
What do ideas produce and so on?
Thoughts produce actions, actions produce habits, habits produce life style OR death style
All worldviews answer 3 basic questions…
1) what is the origin, nature, and destiny of the cosmos? (cosmology)
2) What is the origin, nature and destiny of man?
3) How do we live?
What is the metaphysics of the Biblical Christian Worldview?
(Where everything came from)
Supernatural causation
- Creation came from the infinite and personal God in the bible. Man is made in his image
What is the axiology for the biblical christian worldview?
GOD! (what is the ultimate value?)
God is the absolute standard. Everything begins with God and ends with God
What is the Epistemology of the Biblical Christian Worldview?
(how do we know what we know?)

(Where is everything going?)
KINGDOM OF GOD
What is the metaphysics for the Secular Worldview?
Natural/Nature causation
- We are the result of a yet undiscovered naturalistic force - evolution and the big bang
What is the axiology of the secular worldview?
2 Ways
1) matter, materialists, marxism
2) Man, Humaists
Marxism is the only logical conclusion
What is the epistemology of Secular worldview?
The epistemology is found by man taking thought but in reality, it’s not that they don’t know, they can’t know!
what is the teleology of secular worldview?
The destiny of this worldview is to the kingdom of man or UTOPIA
What are the metaphysics of the Eastern Worldview?
It is infinite and impersonal. Everything is Brahman. Stuck in the cycle of Samsara
What is the Axiology of the Eastern Worldview?
The ultimate value is Brahman
What is the Epsitemology of the Eastern Worldview?
The epistemology is intuition. You just know. what you need is inside yourself
What is the teleology of the eastern worldview?
The teleology is NOTHING. Self-extinction. To return back to be one with Brahman.
