A mark made by a pointed tool; such as brush.
A Line
A flat, enclosed area that has two dimensions, length and width.
Shape
One of the most dominant element, created by light. It has name, shades and tints, and brightness.
Color
3 elements of Color?

Degress of lightness and darkness.
Value
Objects that are Three-dimentional having length, width, and height. They can be viewed from many sides. It takes up space and volume.
Form
Describes the feel of an actual surface. The surface quality of an object; can be real or implied.
Texture
Is used to create the illusion of depth. Can two or three dimentional, negative or positive.
Space
3 types of Line?
Straight Line - a line that progresses in one direction.
Curved Line - **a line that gradually changes in direction thta creates soft edges.
Angular Line - a line that changes abruptly, creating sharp edges.

- Natural/organic shape
- Abstract shape
- Geometric shape
- Positive shape
- Negative shape
An obvious popular source since it objectively represents the physical or material and the natural world.

Fundamental shape that are objectified coming from an idea, emotion, or experience.
