Performance management/review
Influences individual and organisation performance.
Monitoring the performance of the employee, assessing and measuring what the employee does.
Performance appraisal
Manager and employee meet in order to discuss the employee performance within a given period of time. The manager will give feedback on what the employee have been done. If the employee perform a really good performance, the manager may give some reward to appreciate their effort. Therefore, with hope in the future they will be perform better, because they have motivation. The manager could give financial or non-financial rewards to employees.
Financial - compensation or remuneration. Eg. Wages, salaries, bonuses, incentives or other benefits
Non-financial - involving the employee in decision making or give some recognising high standard work.
When the employee did not really well or experienced performance gap that could lead to poor performance, manager has four options to manage it. 1. Coaching 2. Counselling 3. Discipline 4. Dismissal
The other purpose of performance appraisal is to set key performance objectives for the future
Harmful behaviours
Bullying - repeated action of intimidating, offensive or insulting behaviour which undermines, denigrates or injures the recipient. Bullying could reduce productivity and morale, devastating effect on health, esteem and morale. It make the business harder to retain the employee. If the society heard this issue, the business may hard to find new employees.

Violence
