What do each of the toll like receptors respond to?
A
TL3 - Double stranded RnA
TLR7 and TLR8- activated when exposed to single stranded RNA
TLR5- recognises flagella
TLR4- recognises lipopolysaccharides
-would be harsh to make us distinguish between double and single stranded rna

What are toll like receptors?
A
Proteins that play a key role in innate, usually expressed in all innate system cells (dentritic cell, macrophages). Recognise foreign bodies and activate immune cell responses.
Recognise PAMPs (pathogen associated molecular patterns)
