A
The two variables combine or interact to affect the outcome

A
When the lines are not in parallel they show an interaction

What are the assumptions of 2-way ANOVA ?
A
- The data (DV) are on an interval or ratio scale
- All conditions (cells) contain independent samples of subjects (different people in each condition)
- The population represented by the data are roughly distributed
- The populations represented by the data all have homogenous variance
