Social skills training- modelling and reinforcement, peer meditated strategies, scripts and social stories, social skills group, power card strategy

ASD interventions: Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), IBI, Discrete Trial,
Incidental Teaching, Pivotal Response Training, Verbal Behaviour

A

IBI- improvements in cognitive levels, language, and adaptive functioning can be achieved using IBI. 20 hours of therapy a week, supervised by a registered psychologist, takes place in IBI centre.

ABA- takes place in a variety of locations, can be implemented with a variety of instructions.

Discrete- a single cycle of behaviourally based instruction routines.

Incidental- provides instruction within ongoing typical activities.

Pivotal- focuses on pivotal areas of development
