o Chelation Therapy- very harmful, given medication to help the bodies excrete the mercury and metals
o Secretin- hormone produced in the intestine that aids digestion, no proof, trigger allergies
o Lupron Injections- used to treat prostate cancer, no proof, harmful effects
o Hyperbaric Chamber- people with ASD are not receiving enough oxygenated blood, no evidence, cause seizures, ear pain, eye pain
o Gluten Free/Casein Free Diet- gluten can cause behavioural symptoms, no proof, may develop vitamin deficiency
o Sensory Integration- help someone develop their processing of sensory experiences, limited,
o Cranial Sacral Therapy- manipulation of the skulls and spinal column, no evidence, not covered on OHIP
o Irlen Lenses/Vision Therapy - eyewear with coloured glasses, no support, cost about 550 usd
