Week 5 Flashcards
1
Q
What does repeated measures ANOVA measure ?
A
It can test within-group (dependent) samples
* same group of people goes through multiple treatment conditions
2
Q
What is the F-ratio for repeatted measures ANOVA ?
A
F = Between condition variance/ within group variance - inherent variance
3
Q
What are the assumptions for repeated measures ANOVA ?
A
- The data (DV) are on an interval or ratio scale
- The underlying distribution is normally distributed
- The variance among the groups being compared are homogeneous (homogenerity of variance)
- The different treatment conditions are correlated (same or matched)
