Typically a network in which individuals are active despite geographical distances from family. It may be common for this individual to have a lack of close family. Networks tend to be larger and often associated with those who have relocated/ retired
What is the private restricted support network
Characterized by a lack of local family members (except spouse/ partner). contact with neighbors is uncommon, as is involvement with the community. this networks type includes independent couples and those living alone. Small networks, may be in need of more.
