Lightweight Directory Access Protocol
What does LDIF stand for?
LDAP data interchange format
(LDAP notation used for actions in a directory service like add, remove users, groups, etc)
What OS supports OpenLDAP? (3)
Any but includes
1. Linux
2. Windows
3. macOS
Why is it not recommended to use OpenLDAP on Windows?
Because Active Directory is Microsoft’s proprietary software for Window’s directory services
What is LDIF?
A text file that lists attributes and values that describe something
(allows for the use of command tools)
