Answer 1

we are assessing a child with their mother using a baby doll activity. We could assess their expressive language by asking them what the baby is wearing, or what the baby needs to eat, etc. We can assess receptive language by giving the child
directives such as “give baby the bottle” or “rock the baby to sleep”. We can also assess two step directives by saying “Rock the baby and give her to mom” or “dress the baby and feed the baby

How are the targeted skills similar and different between language production and ASL according to our textbook?

both focus on both language
