Proportion measures how many people scored X (2 out of 28 people in the class scored a 90); also proportions are also called relative frequencies.

1 - group should have about 10 intervals
2 - the width of the interval should be easy to count by, a simple number
3 - the bottom sore in each class should be a multiple of the width.
4 - all interval should be he same width and have no gaps.
