Ethical vs moral
ethical = right or wrong based on society rules (laws)
morals = right and wrong based on a person’s principle
factual claims are
statements that is true or false
normative claims are
not statement of facts. express JUDGEMENT
eg: abortion is wrong
cant be proven just justified
conceptual claims
involves looking at the meaning of concepts
eg: fetus is a person. (what is a person)
nonmoral vs immoral
nonmoral = morals not involved
immoral = against morals
utilitarianism is
right or wrong of an action depends on consequence

deontology is
right or wrong depends on if they adhere to the rules (result does not matter)
