Which reflex is this? When corner of the baby’s mouth is stroked/touched the baby will turn his or her head and open his or her mouth to follow and root in the direction of the stroking, this helps the baby find the breast or bottle to start feeding. Lasts about 4 months.
Rooting reflex
Which reflex is this? Basically helps the baby get ready to suck. When the roof of the babies most is touched, baby will start to suck. Reflex doesn’t start until about 32 week of pregnancy and not fully developed until 36 weeks.
