What does Proof 1 (First Mover) mean
The universe is always and is constantly moving, but something must have put it in motion which is God.
What does proof 2 (causality) mean
In the cycle of life, everything that happens has a cause, but there must have been a first cause (god)
What does proof 3 (contingency) mean
There are many contingent things in the universe, but their must have been a time where nothing existed and now their is a universe because of an intelligent being
What does proof 4 (perfection) mean
We are able to recognize imperfections, but we can recognize perfections because of an all perfect being (god)
What does proof 5 (intelligent being) mean
Many things in our universe have no intelligence, but they all act toward and achieve an end because of an intelligent designer that directs them (god)
Why is natural revelation alone insufficient for us to know god fully
We also need Divine Revelation. Historical conditions and the consequences of the original sin often get in the way of us knowing God fully.
