Synthroid (Levothyroxine sodium)
Indications: Hypothyroidism, pituitary thyrotropin (Thyroid-stimulating hormone, TSH) suppression
Drug class: Thyroid drug
Zithromax (Azithromycin dihydrate)
Indications: Bacterial infections
Drug class: Antibiotics, Macrolides (sub-class)
Norvasc (Amlodipine besylate)
Indications: Angina, hypertension, heart disease
Drug class: Antihypertensive, calcium channel blockers (sub-class)
Celexa (Citalopram hydrobromide)
Indications: Depression
Drug class: Antidepressant, SSRI (sub-class)
Special notes: Can cause suicidal thoughts and behaviors in young children, children, and adolescents
Lipitor (Atorvastatin calcium)
Indications: High cholesterol, stroke, myocardial infarction
Drug class: Antihyperglycemic, HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (sub-class)
Special notes: Do not take with grapefruit juice (makes drug less effective)
Advil (ibuprofen)
Indications: Pain, inflammation, fever
Drug class: NSAIDS (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)
Special notes: 1. Can increase risK of heart attack, stroke, and GI bleeding

Flonase (fluticasone propionate)
Indications: Nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, water/itchy eyes

Special notes: OTC
Lantus (insulin glargine)
Indications: Type 1+2 diabetes
Drug class: Antihyperglycemic, insulin (sub-class)
Special notes: 1. Long acting insulin
