• The standard classic liberal response to diversification was dealt by assimilation (indigenous), thus the state should remain neutral and diversity a private matter.
• This is important for integration into jobs and the old way of assimilation is not beneficial for upward mobility of the economy.

Kymlicka believes that if autonomous decisions lead to gross human rights violations then there should be monitoring by the government authority. This is hypocritical to his previous point made in flashcard 7
