A
- The standard classic liberal response to diversification was dealt by assimilation (indigenous), thus the state should remain neutral and diversity a private matter.
- This is important for integration into jobs and the old way of assimilation is not beneficial for upward mobility of the economy.

- Liberal states a one language which is counter to multinational neutrality or a liberal state.

- Granting policies are insufficient
- Equalize capacity of majority and minority to equally support their autonomy of their members.

- The point of self government is to allow autonomous decions and is therefore justified.

Critics of kymlicka
A
Kymlicka believes that if autonomous decisions lead to gross human rights violations then there should be monitoring by the government authority. This is hypocritical to his previous point made in flashcard 7
