INHERENT
Are groups of rights that have been recognized by the Supreme Court as requiring a high degree of protection from government
FUNDAMENTAL
Cannot be rightfully taken away from a person
INALIENABLE
Cannot be lost even if man fails to use to asserts them, even by a long passage of time
IMPRESCRIPTABLE
Not capable of being divided. Cannot be denied even when other rights have been already enjoyed
INDIVISIBLE
Applies irrespective of ones origin, status or condition or place where one lives
UNIVERSAL
The fulfillment or exercise of one cannot be had without realization of the other
INTERDEPENDENT
God given rights, acknowledge by everybody to be morally good
NATURAL RIGHTS
conferred and protected by the institution, and which cannot be modified or take away by the law making body.
CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS
these rights which are provided by law promulgated by the law making body. May be abolished by the body that created them.
STATUTORY RIGHTS
Accorded to individuals
INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS
Also called “peoples rights” or “solidarity rights”. Those rights can be enjoyed by the company of others
COLLECTIVE RIGHTS
Those rights which the law will enforce at the instance of private individuals for the purpose of securing to them the enjoyment of their means to happiness
CIVIL RIGHTS
Those rights which the law confers upon the people to enable them to achieve social and economic development
ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL RIGHTS
Those rights which enable us to participate in running the affairs of the government
