- Tech doesn’t always align with educational objectives
Kraalingen (2023) strategies for tech in the outdoors
Mitigation, intentionality, adaption
What is Mitigation
Limit use of technology to that which clearly aligns with the lesson plan
What is Intentionality
Evaluate what underlying messages the use of equipment will convey to the participants and what the implications are for the learning process
What is Adaptation
Adapt technology for use in outdoor recreation and learning
