Q

What is withing subject design?

A

The same group of participants tests all the designs and then you compare results. It is less costly than between-subject design and less likely to suffer from user variation

Q

What is between subject design?

A

Separate groups of participants test different Designs and then you compare results between groups. There is no transfer of learning. More participants are required than within-subject design and variation can bias results.
