The branch of philosophy dealing with values relating to human conduct, with respect to the rightness or wrongness of certain actions and the goodness and badness of the motives and ends of such actions
Ethics
The set of values, ideas, and opinions of an individual or a group
Philosophy
A culturally entrenched pattern of behavior made up of: sacred beliefs, emotional feelings accompanying these beliefs, and overt conduct presumably implementing the beliefs and feelings
Religion
The branch of moral philosophy in which ethics is based solely on human faculties such as logic, empathy, reason, or moral intuition and not derived from belief in supernatural revelation or guidance; the source of ethics in many religions
Secularism
A system of political or social philosophy that rejects all forms of religious faith and worship
Secularism
Beliefs held in high esteem; tell us what’s good – they’re the things we strive for, desire and seek to protect
Values
A rule of ethical conduct found in some form in most major religions usually phrased, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
Golden Rule
A category of philosophy that determines what an individual believes about morality and right and wrong
Personal Ethics
Moral principles that vary with circumstance
Situational Ethics
Values related to human conduct as applied to a business
