weakest weave, drapes very well, reasonable insulator depending on fibre content, suitable for lining, lingerie, bias cut products

horizontal loops, ladders across, strecthes width and lengthwise. Eg. jersey, single jersey, rib knit

Literally all knitwear- jumpers etc.

stretches only widthways, ladders length ways
