What is weathering
To wear away or change the appearance or texture of something.
Mechanical weathering
Weathering that hasn’t changed the chemical composition of the rock
Chemical weathering
The erosin or disintegration of a object caused by chemicals

Allowing liquids and gases to pass threw a object
Abrasion
The process of scraping or weathering away
Ice wedging
When water seeps into ice and freeze which causes cracks to widen

The process or result of oxidation or being oxidized
Carbonic acid
A very weak acid formed in solution when carbon dioxide dissolves in water
Acid rain
When polluted air gets evaporated with the air vapor which causes very little acid in rain
Carbon dioxide
A gas produced by burning carbon
