What’s Temperature?
How hot or cold it is in a certain place.
How is Temperature measured?
It’s measured using a thermometer, using the units degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.

How much water has fallen from the sky as rain; snow; sleet; hail; etc.
How do you measure rainfall?
Using a rain-gauge, and units mm and cm.
Why do you measure rainfall with mm and cm rather than ml?
Because you measure the height of rainfall, not the volume.

Humidity is the amount of water-vapour present in the sky.H
How do you measure humidity?
Humidity is measured using a hygrometer, using percentage as units.
What does the prefix ‘hygro’ mean?
It means ‘moisture’ or ‘wet’.
What is air pressure?
Air pressure is the amount of force pressing down on us due to the weight of the air.
How do you measure air pressure?
Air pressure is measured using a barometer, using units mb (millibars).W
What does the prefix ‘baro’ mean?
‘baro’ means pressure.
What’s Wind Speed?
Wind Speed is how fast the wind is blowing.
How do you measure Wind Speed?
Wind Speed is measured using kmph or mph using anemometer.W

Anemo means wind.
What’s Wind Direction?
Wind direction is the direction the wind is blowing from.
