What is temperature?
Temperature is the degree or intensity of heat present in the air (how warm or cold the air is)
What is precipitation?
Precipitation is moisture that falls to or condenses on the ground (the amount of moisture that falls from the sky and can be collected)
What is humidity?
Humidity is the amount of moisture in the air (water vapour)
What is pressure?
Pressure is the force of air on the Earth’s surface
What is wind speed?
Wind speed is how fast the air is moving
What is wind direction?
Wind direction is the direction FROM which the wind is coming
What is cloud cover?
Cloud cover is the amount of sky covered by cloud
What is cloud type?
The type of cloud according to its shape and height
What are sunshine hours?
The number of hours the sun shines at a particular place
What unit is used to measure temperature?
Degrees Celsius (°C)
What unit is used to measure precipitation?
Millimeters (mm)
What unit is used to measure humidity?
Percentage (%)
What unit is used to measure pressure?
Hectopascals (hPa)
Or millibars (mb)

Knots
