The boundary between 2 air masses
Cold front
Causes warm air to rise, fast moving, thunderstorms, cool weather
Warm front
When a warm air mass moves over a cold air mass
Occluded front
When a cold air mass pushes a warm air mass then keeps moving until it hits another cold air mass
Stationary front
When cold and warm air masses push at each other, without going any where
Air mass
A group of air with the same characteristics
Continental polar
Cold and dry
Maritime polar
Wet and cold
Continental tropical
Dry and warm
Maritime tropical
