What is weather?
It is what the atmopshere or air is like at a particular time.
How can you measure changes in the weather?
Special instruments or tools, units of measure such as degrees celcius or millimetres
What is temperature
It is how hot or cold the air is
How do you record temperature?
In degrees celcius.
What is the minimum temperatur?
The coldest point in the day.
What is the maximum temperature?
The hottest point in the day.
What is wind?
The air that is blowing across the lands surface.
What instrument do you use to measure wind speed?
anemoeter.
How is wind measured in?
kms per hour
How do we measure wind direction?
With a wind sock or wind vane.
What are the different types of cloud cover?
Cloudy, Partly Cloudy or Clear
What is precipitation?
Water than falls to the ground. Rain, Snow, Hail.
What is rain?
Water that falls in droplets.
What is hail?
Water that falls as frozen droplets during a thunderstorm.
What is snow?
Water falls as frozen ice.
