Weapons of the Great War Flashcards

Q
What were short-distance weapons in the Great War?
A
- Poison Gas was a good friend in the war, not the best way to kill an enemy, but if you were in a bad situation without a gun, this was your best friend to get the enemies to scatter away.
- Grenades are good depending on how far you can throw. If you can’t throw too far don’t expect your enemies to go far, but if you can hit into a trench or maybe even a tank, that could save your life too.
- Flame Throwers may well be walking torture because being burnt alive doesn’t sound too fun, but if you are too far away all that’s going to do is burn the air.

- Machine guns can be brutal especially as their killing power are quite high because of their unreal fire rate. Not one person could handle that many bullets in their body.
- Tanks are personally for me quite
