Contraception bans
NML has the teleological view that we all share a common human nature designed by God. This has created the common belief that sex should only be for procreation and led to artificial forms of contraception being banned, which contributed to the spread of AIDS as well as the persecution of LGBTQ people across the world.
Athiests
AQ believed that it was natural for all people to believe in God, but that isn’t true for atheists, so NML has no use for a large portion of the population who do not believe in God. Counter : Other forms of NML have been created which do not presuppose belief in God such as that by John Finnis.
Immoral outcomes
Despite the fact that the Catholic Church was one of the largest providers of care to people with AIDS, it was their doctrines that caused it to spread so far in the first place.
Hasn’t withstood the test of time
