What are secondary precepts?
A
Rules that derive from the PP’s and govern how we should act in specific situations.

Using the primary precepts, how could we come to the secondary precept that abortion is wrong?
A
Abortion would go against the PP of reproduction as it kills a foetus, which would also go against the PP of preserving innocent life.

Does AQ allow for any flexibility in the secondary precepts?
A
AQ says that the closer we get to a situation, the more variation there will be as to what is right and wrong. He says that although the PP’s are unchangeable, in ‘cases of rare occurances through some special causes’ the 2ndary P’s may be changed.
