What should be included when creating an effective user interface when creating a wireframe.
Horizontal navigational bar
Relative horizontal and vertical positioning of the media.
Form inputs
File formats of the media (text, graphics, video, and audio)
Multilevel website
A website which can be split into sections, and these sections can be split further into sub-sections creating more levels.
Advantages:
- Reduces clutter on page making finding links easier
- Reduces need to go through many web pages to find the link to the correct page.
Low fieldity prototypes
Is used to show the intended user interface for any software product.
- It allows end-users to get the look and feel of a web-site before it is created
- Usually paper based but more detailed than a wireframe, including information content.
- Forms a critical part of usability testing.
Personas
Personas are fictional characters created to represent the different user tupes that the design teamss have encountered or that the team beleive are important to the project.
User Stories
A user story is a brief statement that identifies the user and his/her need. It is a direct statement that relates to a specific persona.
User Scenarios
A user scenario expands upon already developed user stories by including details about how a system might be interpreted, experienced, and used. User scenarios provide detail about the user’s goal, detail any assumed knowledge the user has and the level of experience the user has.
User case
A use case is a list of steps a use would take to perform an action.
