TO STARE
To look at sb/ sth for a long time, may be rude (attraction, confusion, interest, amazement).
‘TO GAZE’
To look steadily at sb/ sth for a long time (admiring, interest, surprise).
‘TO GLARE’
To look at sb/ sth angrily, with a frown (anger, disagreement).
‘TO SQUINT’
Looking with your eyes partly shut (bright light, trying to see better).
‘TO PEER’
To look closely or carefully (cannot see something clearly).
‘TO OGLE’
To look hard at sb offensively (sexual interest or lust).
‘TO GAPE’
To stare at sth/sb with your mouth open (surprise or shock).

To stare at sb/ sth in a rude or stupid way (rudeness, stupidity).

To shut and open your eyes quickly (stressed, surprised).
