Why dont sound waves travel in space
because space is a vacuum, therefore has no particles. And sound waves travel by sound bouncing off of particles.
What state of matter do sound waves travel faster through and why?
Solids, because the particles are close together, therefore the sound particles can pass through the particles easy/quickly.
