Set two microphones a metre apart from each other with a timer attached. Then play a noise behind microphone 1 and see how long it takes the sound to reach microphone 2. When the noise reaches microphone one the start the timer and wind noise reaches microphone to the stop the timer. Then measure the distance between the two microphones and use V equals D/T.
