FIRE
Engine fire or bleed air leak
ADC FAIL
Air Data Computer has failed
Instruments on the HUD/PFD will be inoperative, reference the BFI.
Consider CB reset if popped.
Land as soon as practicable.
Will lose primary airspeed, alt, VSI, TAD, aural gear warning and XPDR mode C.
BATT BUS
Battery Bus inoperative
Failure confirmed by accompanying captions:
OIL PX, HYDE FL LO, PMU STATUS, TRIM OFF + failure of UFCP, CTR and RH MFDs
Note:
OBOGS will be inoperative once main bat depleted
Cockpit will depressurise when power to Bat Bus lost
BFI + standby V/UHF approx. 30 mins on Aux Bat. Minimise RT to conserve.
Plan to use Emer. gear extension + get inspection if pos
CANOPY
Canopy unlocked or unsafe
Get + stay below 150 KIAS
Descend to below 18000ft
CHIP
Engine chip detector indicates oil contamination
Throttle min practicable and avoid unnecessary movement
Fly it = Recover to Land asap, think about areas flying over if need to eject
CHK ENG
Engine parameters exceed operation limits (something in the EICAS is in the red)
GEN
Generator Inoperative
Symptoms:
DC Voltmeter < 25V and ammeter discharging (with or without GEN warning)
Either Land ASAP or Land as soon as Practicable - depends if Gen reset works
CKPT PX
Cockpit Overpressurisation (3.9 to 4.0 delta P psi)
Get below 18000ft and then DUMP
Land as soon as practicable
EDM FAIL
Engine Data Manager had failed
FUEL PX
Fuel Pressure below 10 psi
GEN BUS
Generator Bus inoperative
OBOGS FAIL
OBOGS system malfunction
OIL PX
Oil pressure at/below 40 psi, or oil pressure 15 ro 40 psi for 5 secs at idle
PMU FAIL
PMU Failure
