EICAS coding
Warnings (red, cannot be cancelled)
Cautions (amber can be cancelled)
Advisory (amber, can be cancelled 1 space to the right)
Fire bell inhibit during TO
Starts at nose gear lift off
Ends 20 sec after nose gear lift off or 400ft RA (whichever first)
Master Caution inhibit during TO
Starts at 80kt
Ends 20s after nose gear lift off or 400ft RA (whichever first)
When start abort ends at 75 kt
EICAS messages not inhibited
TO config warning when
Thrust lever not TO pos Slats/flaps not in TO position Slats/flaps disagree with lever position Parking brake set Speed brake lever not DN Stabilizer trim not in TO range

Landing config warning, when
In flight
Landing gear not down and locked and
either: any thrust lever idle below 800ft RA
flaps are in landing position(25 or 30)
Overspeed warning
When VMO/MMO limits exceeded
Cannot be cancelled, reduce speed
Stall warning
2 identical stall warning computers
Only in flight, deactivated on ground by ground/air logic
If slats are in TO position, autom extend to landing pos and autom retract(L hyd)
Indication: stick shaker, no EICAS message
Pitch Limit Indication PLI
When flaps are not up, PLI display on PFD.
PLI is a reference calculated from stall warning computer to indicate stick shaker activation point
