Annunciator intensity may be changed by:
- Resetting the master caution system
- Positioning the TEST switch to CAUT.
- Using the lighting dimmer.
- Positioning the dimming switch to BRT or DIM as appropriate.

A gear warning horn sounds:
- Any time the gear does not lock down.

The conditions that cause the take-off warning horn to sound are (There maybe more than one correct
response) :
- One or both condition levers not at MAX.
- Landing gear not down and locked, flaps selected to 15° or greater.
- Engine ECU rating selector not at take-off power (TOP).
- Elevator trim out of the take-off range.
- Flaps extended more than 20 degrees or less than 5 degrees.
- Parking brake lever selected to PARK.
- One or both condition levers not at MAX.
- Engine ECU rating selector not at take-off power (TOP).
- Elevator trim out of the take-off range.
- Flaps extended more than 20 degrees or less than 5 degrees.
- Parking brake lever selected to PARK.
When the TEST switch is set to the ADVSY position, all:
- Advisory lights illuminate provided DC power is available.
- Advisory lights illuminate provided 115 vAC power is available.
- Caution annunciators illuminate
- Caution/warning annunciator and both master indicators illuminate
- Advisory lights illuminate provided DC power is available.
When a malfunction occurs, the caution / warning system activates:
- The pilots ejection seat.
- A master indicator and an aural tone.
- A system annunciator.
- A system annunciator and the associated master indicator.
- A system annunciator and the associated master indicator.
